H&R BLOCK, Block Advisors, Spruce: EMAIL DESIGN SYSTEM

OPPORTUNITY

With Tax Season 2021 just around the corner, Gale won the media and email business for all of H&R Block, including 3 business units plus a few financial products. We needed to design a system, a world of building blocks, that looked great and allowed for flexible, nimble email deployment at scale.

SOLUTION
We did a strategic business audit to understand all the different kinds of content we‘d need to cover. We then created one component system that could support multiple business units and their unique branding needs. It was a fast, furious and ultimately we were able to deploy 800 emails in 8 months. Year 1 was all about efficiency and accuracy. Year 2 would be about optimization and elevation.
